Antelope Animal hand carved wood figure, carving. Wonderful folk art antelope Carved by Ellsworth Eugene “Whitey” Beebe from northern Michigan. Upon retirement from being a stone Mason, Whitey took to carving as an outlet. Totally self taught, he captured scenes that were important to him to serve as a remembrance. Raised his family in Sebeewing MI and retired to Kalkaska MI. This carving was obtained directly from his family who regarded him highly. Carving measures 11″ long, 11″ tall and 4 wide.
