Vintage Folk Art hand Carved & Painted Bird in. Cage measures 12 1/2″ tall and has a six-sided base that is 6 1/2″ wide, the bird appears to be 6 1/2 tall and is mounted on a tree stomp, the carving of the bird. Appears to be by D&D Strawser although not signed it came from an estate sale collection. Of D&D Strawser carvings, beautiful condition, cage has 2 openings (see pics) carving.
